Founded in 1961, LeadingAge New York, formerly the New York Association of Homes & Services for the Aging (NYAHSA), represents not-for-profit, mission-driven and public continuing care providers, including nursing homes, senior housing, adult care facilities, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and community service providers. Leading Age New York’s more than 600 members employ 150,000 professionals serving more than 500,000 New Yorkers annually.
LeadingAge New York Services is committed to working in the best interest of the LeadingAge New York membership and offering services that support their efforts. To this end, LeadingAge New York Services continues to offer various member services through education, publications, conferences and consultation, as well as direct endorsement of services and products to facilitate the operation of LeadingAge New York member facilities
